Located in the heart of one of Hampshire’s highest villages, Michael’s Field in Hannington is unique with its staggering views over the local countryside.
We welcome:
- Football competitions
- Cricket competitions
- Outdoor parties and events
- If desired, a location to pitch a marquee
Offering a newly refurbished multi-functional pavilion with facilities that include:
- ‘Home’ and ‘Away’ changing rooms/showers
- Toilets with disabled access and facilities
- Kitchen with a fridge, hob, oven and tea urn - and some cutlery and crockery
- A heart defibrillator is fixed outside on the pavilion wall
Field sports facilities that include:
- Two football pitches
- An all-weather cricket wicket
- Children’s play equipment including, swings and slides, and a ball wall - 'free' entry to all

History of Michael's Field - Rural Venue Available for Hire
Located in the heart of one of Hampshire’s highest villages, Michael’s Field is unique with staggering views over the local countryside. Offering a newly refurbished pavilion with ‘home’ and ‘away’ changing rooms, kitchen, toilets disabled access and facilities, it is a multi-functional building fit for different events at the Field. Sports facilities include two football pitches, a new all-weather cricket wicket; children’s play equipment including swings and slides and a ball wall, Michael’s Field is a key village asset with its own car park available for hire. With its sporting facilities, location to pitch a marquee and ample car parking, Michael’s Field is a perfect venue for an outdoor summer event. Given in memory of Michael Henry Mosley, killed in action in WWII, Michael’s Field is a charity, held by Fields in Trust and managed locally by Michael’s Field Management Committee. The field has been much loved by the village for nearly 80 years and, thanks to the generosity of many, has recently undergone a major programme of improvements.
