Health & Safety Policy

Hannington Parish Council recognises and accepts its responsibilities as an employer for providing a safe and healthy working environment for all its employees, contractors, voluntary helpers and members of the public who may be affected by the activities of the Council or use any of its property or facilities.

At a meeting of the Parish Council held on 12th December 2023, the decision was taken to adopt a formal Health and Safety Policy and nominate from its elected members; a Health and Safety Officer.

Cllr. Jon Whitfield, was duly appointed Health and Safety Officer for the Parish.

Available below is a copy of the updated Health and Safety policy, methodology to be employed when assessing risk and the Council's Health and Safety priorities for 2024.
